I wanted to capture that very specific feeling of waking up in the summer on holiday, probably in Italy or the South of France, to the smell of coffee and the sound of crockery being clumsily handled by a loved one in the kitchen, knowing that when you emerge, a beautiful scene of food and love awaits you.
